Checkbox Column in TrueDBgrids !

Oh my... here we go again with 3rd party components...

Ok I got this evaluation copy of a grid prolly many of you already know, TrueDBGrids and I got problems with a bound checkbox column in my grid... I see the column in the grid, I see some of my columns checked and some uncheckd BUT when I click on a row in that column to check or uncheck it, I always get the same error message which is :

"Input string was not in a correct format."


...and I'm like "ROTF what input string, it's a CHECKBOX, 0 or 1 will be alright !!!"

Anyone else using that component and seen what I'm talking about ? I know, I know I should contact them instead of you guys :(
