I am using the package and deployment wizard from VB6 tools
for my program.
The proces of packaging goes fine except for this message that Comdlg32.ocx and Mscomctl.ocx are outdated.
Has that got something to do with the crash i get when trying to install the program?

It could be a bug of your current windows languest version.
If your old Comdlg32.ocx is a other languest then the
one your trying to install. That could maybe be a problem.
But i am not sure about it..

Or it could just be another problem caused by the wonderful Package and Destroyment Wizard (a nickname that I must attribute to compuGEEK ;) ). I have had numerous problems with the P&D Wizard. Check out a post I made awhile back
http://forums.vb-world.net/showthrea...threadid=15186
and you will find some hints.
