Hi,

i have done a project in which data reports are required.i converted the project into an exe file. but if i run the exe in a system in another system which does not have vb installed in it it says invalid data source error fo the data reports. how to rectify this.

Does the other machine contain .NET Framework ? and what OS is installed ?

hi,
the other system does not have .NET framework. The os is windows98.

If you wrote your app in VB.NET, the target machine must have the .NET Framework installed on it for the app to run.

Is your app written in .NET, I thought it was VB 6.0
