you can change the path of "program files", so that any programs that install in it will install on "D:\Program Files" (use TweakUI from microsoft powertoys)Quote:

...but you might find you have a few problems with programs that have already installed - in most cases just copying the contents of "program files" to the new path should work.
If you have XP , then you would like this feature . RightClick MyComputer ------>Properties----->Advanced----->Environment Variables . There you go , you need to understand those symbols well so you won't have any problems later (read the help).
