Does anyone know if one can distribute Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 with your application. I know you can do this with MDAC, DCOM and JET.
Are Service Packs under the same type of agreement?

You should read the SP3 EULA.
ns-code
Thanks for your non-answer. I have read it and I am sorry... I do not understand LAYWER..ESE. I was hoping someone would either know Yes or NO.
The EULA states that you can copy, install and use the SP if you have the Windows 2000 OS (But if you do not you can not use the damned thing anyway! it will not install).
Now nowhere in this EULA agreement does it state if you can supply (ship) this SP with your product or not.
That is the answer I was looking for.
Your not welcome :)
I would make a great technical support person, wouldn't I? :)
Now I remamber I've seen it on some magazine CDs, so it should be ok to supply.
What they meen is that the end user must have the licence.Quote:

The redist service pack is just for that reason - redistribution. Feel free!
