[Resolved] Shut off Notices?

I'm using this code:

Now, normally I wouldn't get a warning or notice with this on my webserver, but on my machine (where I test my pages), I keep getting:

I'm willing to bet there's a way to shut this off in the php.ini. Can anybody tell me which setting it is?

yes it is the error_reporting. this link in the ini file

error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

just uncomment it if it is commented.

Doesn't seem to work. Is there anything else I have to do?

I tried commenting out this line:

I forgot Ctrl + S doesn't work in Notepad. :mad:
