I just bought the XML Web Services Step by Step from MS Press. I am not so sure how I like the book yet, but it is an easy read so far. Your right though, the Web Service thing has a lot of potential, but I think it will be slow to adopt only because it seems that people don't know what it really is.
Thanks for the recommendations guys. I'll go to the bookstore tommorow and look at the one hellswraith mentioned.
