Hmm , here are tons of modems but which one should I go for ? http://store.satcomresources.com/satellitemodems.cfm
Why are you opting for a satellite modem? Those are mainly used only when high-speed isn't available, as it's more costly.
It's not that costy . It's for $300 (all charges included) . I fed up with ADSL . I need high bandwith connection .;) .I'm confused which one should I pick up?
Now , that question would be : Do all Sat ISPs support all Sat modem (and vice versa) ? and What standards do these modems follow ? come on guys .
Do all Sat ISPs support all Sat modem (and vice versa) ? and What standards do these modems follow ? I just though to bold the question ...:D
Thanks for any input !
Satellite usually isn't as fast as DSL, more like dual ISDN (faster than that probably, but no DSL). Cable's what you're going to want.
I do have DSL (64K) , it's not that fast . I just wanted to install Satelitte connection to get more than 500K . That's all .
Okay, well if it suits you then it's fine, but I can't help you any more in this category, sorry.
WOW, what a speed ! It's damn fast ! I bought "Sky2PC" and my ISP is OpenSky . Thanks for all who tried to help me thought !
