VB6 to VBA
I'm a user of VB6 before and now I am in a class for VBA. I do not really know the difference between VB6 and VBA, and I have to make a proposal for my final project in this class even if I still do not know much about VBA. Do you have suggestions on what kind of programs I can propose as my final project? I'm only a college sophomore. Thank you!

VBA is basically VB6 with a few more added objects for you to play with - i.e. you've got all the calls & language reference which you can use with VB6, then on top of that you have objects such as "worksheet" or "range" (in Excel) which are program specific that you can call & use.
An accounts application doesn't need to be that hard to do, but can be expanded quite a bit for a final project as you learn more about VBA - you can use excel's formulas & write a small program which you can manage your monthly wages & outgoing expenses by, this might be a pretty good one to work with...?

What about rewritting the Mellissa Worm? If your prof wants to judge it he has to execute it at least once
Just kidding!!!!!!!!! :p

Aha , mention of a virus, does that mean I finally get to ban someone now... :p :D
My very first Execl project was a shell command to sol.exe - our network admin guy 'hid' the games and several ways of getting to them on our school network when we were about 15 I guess & we played around with VBA until we found a way to get them back - drove the guy nuts as he didn't know how we were managing to bring them up heh! :p

Talk of network hacking!!! You have to ban yourself!!
LoL.
The only computer class I took was in highschool and I flunked it because I was not into computers at the time. All I did was play Sim City(The original one) and some driving game that really sucked but the teacher took all my games off due to my grades, well I got curious once and attempted to log into the network as him instead of under my own ID and sadly enough he still had the default password which was East (Because it was East High School).
That's as lucky as one could get.
And oh yea, I had all the games for the rest of the day along with everyone else. :D
