Peace-Keeping in Iraq: An unwanted task ??

So, looks like once the war is over, Britain will pull its troops out and maybe leave the cleanup work for the US forces, or ask for a UN peacekeeping force. Not too responsible, is it? ;)

Nothing is said about abandoning them. stop reading any old crap into these stories.

And stop trying to make people look worse than they are. All evidence stated against Saddam is based on fact. You are changing news articles to benefit yourself.

That means Mr. Tony Blair will decide how long the British troops will be deployed for peace-keeping, and not the situation in Iraq.

I didn't say Iraq was going to be abandoned, so stop putting words in my mouth.

And I think I don't need to make anyone appear worse than he/she is. At least you acknowledge they are bad :rolleyes:

This is not only in this case, this is meant in all, you do have a tendancy to well 'Blow' things out of proportion with newspaper articles. They do that anyway maybe you should be a reporter

If Blair was stupid enough to pledge his troops for war, he must be brave enough to meet the peacekeeping requirements. It's not him who decides when and how much to stretch the troops for peacekeeping. He is one of those who started the war, and he must see it through, and take his share in the peace-keeping duties.

And we will be a peace keeping force we are not pulling out altogether.

One 3rd of our forces are out there and we arent leaving them all there that is what he means :) :) :) :)

In the 1991 Gulf War, Britain lost as many soldiers to friendly fire as to Iraqi forces. (as reported by ToI)

How many Iraqi soldiers have fallen in contrast, We are 60 miles from the capitol. You cant critisize any of the forces especially when there is a large threat of WMD being fired. Inside or outside the country.
