$bump$
If you have a static IP, then you can use a VPN to another static IP, yes. You need to have admin and routing control over both ends though, and you need to be running something other than Windows (because, basically, it cannot do it in any sane way).
I VPN in from home to work over my DSL all the time.... it's just like I'm there.....
HUH!? I don't have a static IP..... running Win2K.... I connect all the time.....Quote:

not really what I mean ! internet by Satelittle needs VPN connection . It encapsulates two connections including dialup . As I am sure dialup support this kind of connection . But I don't know about DSL ?Quote:

I meant to construct one and keep it going even when the physical link isn't completely there.
Otherwise you have to reconfigure and rekey everything for the new addresses.
EH!? I still don't follow....Quote:

You probably do it differently. But in order to properly verify the remote host, the IP you connect to/from is also checked. When they change, everything has to.
Unless it's possible to disable that (and take some of the security away in favour of convenience).
After all this fuss , Is it possible ? I'm ganna set up things at home ?:rolleyes:Quote:

If any of you guys has satellite connection , What modem do you recommend ?? How much in USD ??
Thanks
Very few people have a satellite connection. They're expensive for what you get, and they're fast on downloads only.
In mainland areas of the more "hi-tech" countries they're extremely rare. I saw a lot of people with them in Egypt though.
so I need that high speed and I will set things up so soon because it accepts both Dialup and DSL cons .wow
thanks guys !:D
