Need USB speaker software

Recently i upgraded to XP, and my altec lansing speaker software does not want to work on XP, i contacted the mfg. but they said that they are not makeing any software upgrades for the speakers that i have. I would like to know if there are any decent programs out on the market, which i can buy or download, so that i can control my speakers through my USB. The software that i had before allowed me to mess around with all of the functions of my speakers on my desktop instead of fiddling with my speakers. Please let me know if there is any software similar to the one that i had in the past.
