Factory Restore WinXP

But, I don't the the Factory Restore Disc(It didn't come with the PC.). All I have is the WinXP Disc. Is there any way I can Factory Restore with out formatting?

The disc will probably start the restore but it will delete all your files, back up any files on another media device before proceding to repair it.

Doesnt windowsXP come sith some auto backup repair program, see control panel. :) :) :) :)

I don't have anything important that I need to backup, I just want to start clean.

I put the WinXP Disc in, rebooted, didn't do anything. :o

Can you point me in the right direction?

I presume you have the Cd drive set as a boot device???

It must be higher priority than your hard disk, when you boot it will then auto run the WinXP CD :) :) :)
