Hi,
I'm using this Forum a lot, and it is of great help.
But lately it seems the General Section is somehow changing from a VB Forum to an VBA Forum.
What'S about a extra Forum for these questions?

Thats a pretty good idea, but you could run the risk of a load of access questions going in there rather than the database forum possibly...
Well, VBA isn't so dissimilar to VBScript etc.

Sorry mate, but this time I would TOTALLY & UTTTERLY disagree with you there ;) :p
VBA is more similar to vb than vbs - I'd say it's vb with specific program functionality/calls etc added to it, so all the Excel etc bits added on which you don't get with nomal vb might be better off in a forum on their own rather than in general vb questions.
vbs is scripting - cut down version of vb totally, theres no apis, variable data types other than variant & is very limited.
If you don't want to create a new forum, thats cool, just tell us, but saying this line:isn't really a  & you'll have to find something better than that one! ;)Quote:

Touché, plenderj
But if you think VBA question are better off in this Forum, why not put "VBA" into the name of that forum?
Al'ight Al'ight.
I'll mention it to the admins :)
I agree that VBA doesn't belong with VBScript.
Because VBA is directly related to VB, I have no trouble adding this forum (versus adding forums for other topics that have been requested).

 cheers Brad, Jamie! :)
I hope you're happy now that you've got your evil way :mad:Quote:
