Hi Everyone
After searching through the .net forum, I still have a
question.
Should I upgrade to XP Pro before installing VB.Net? I'm
currently using VB6 Pro on XP Home.
The cost of the upgrade + VB.net.....well, you get the picture.
Thanks

You won't be able to do any of the ASP.NET stuff because you need IIS and if I remember correctly XP Home doesn't come with IIS.
XP Home will not let you create web applications. If you are strictly doing windows forms apps, console apps, and windows services, then go ahead and stay on XP Home, but if you want to create internet web applications (ASP.Net), then you will want XP Pro.
That's what I needed to know. Might as well dive in now and upgrade to XP Pro a little down the road.:p
Thank you for the insight!
