A really dirty (but not quick) method to do this:
Open up Sound Recorder (comes with windows)
Play the song or audio in your player
When the part you like comes along, start recording.
After you finish recording, you'll save the wav file, and it'll be a couple MBs in size.
Use "Audiocatalyst" or ".mp3 encoder" or some other wav 2 mp3 converter to convert it to an mp3
Now write it to the CD. (I hate the word 'burn' :p )
Sound Recorder is limited to 60s. Try Goldwave (www.goldwave.com), as it can capture an indefinate amount and can natively save to Mp3... but if you intend to write to CD, why would you be converting it in the first place ;)
One tip though; make sure you MUTE Line-In and Mic and all that stuff...
Thanx sastrix
Hope I can get it to work
Hey Sastrix
I downloaded the goldwave app and I used it but it didn't record more than a minute long and the quality is very bad especially the sound is very low
Is there any tweaking or something
Awaiting your reply
Thanx man
I'll bet you have a mic plugged in, or you didn't mute it (or both!). Set recording source to "Wave" or "What you hear", and set the recording options.
... and it's Sastraxi ;)
Sastrix, do you know Asterix and Obelix? :)
