hi,
does anybody know of either some APi code or normal code to access these areas of a music cd and place them either into a text file or a text box
. Artist
. Label
. Track Names
similar to the cdplayer.ini on your computer, i just would like to know how i can access that information on the cd and place it into a text file
All of this would be very useful
Cheers

Xtree for Windows.
There is a File Manager called Ztree for Windows, which would might be useful for copying Music files as text. For more information check [email protected]
I used Xtree (a DOS utility) and liked it better than the File Manager used with Windows 3.1, so when I upgraded to Windows 9.x, I obtained Ztree. It does some things better than Explorer and other Windows facilities. It cannot be used to replace explorer, but it has some handy features.
In particular, it allows you to view any file in Hex and/or Text mode.
