using addNew

Hi,

I am having problems using addNew to put information into a database. I keep getting errors on the line that reads:

rs.AddNew(Array("a Column","a Column"),Array(a number,a number))

rs is an open recordset. I kget various erros. The most common ones are that is dowsn't like the Array declaration, Array("a Column","a Column")...., or I get the error:
"Object variable of with block not set".

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you are using Vb.NET why are you still using the old ADO and not the new ADO.NET?
