Toolbar question

Morning :)
Quick toolbar question...

When I create my toolbar, the buttons are all the same size (see screenshot) The first button is a drop down button with text, the second is an ordinary push button.

I've tried messing with the autosize properties of the toolbar but either the dropdown button is not big enough to display the text or the second push button is too big... is it possible to set the size of the individual buttons or do I need to create a new toolbar class or something.

Seems overly complicated to achieve quite a standard effect I would have thought.

Also (sorry this isn't an answer to your question SjR), how can you specify the width of the seperator in a toolbar?

OK , this isn't a problem at all . Try to resize the page of an IE , then you will get the same result as with your toolbar. So no worries .

IE as in Internet Explorer?

Oh yeah, I would also like to know how to set the width of a separator if anyone knows :)

IE was just an example to say that the toolbar isn't resizable ??

I think you missed the point - let me explain.

In IE - example shown - the "back" button has a greater width (width=approx 40?) than the "stop" and "refresh" buttons (width=approx 18?) - which contain icons only and no text.

In my app, the "New" button is exactly the same size as the un-named button next to it. I would like the "New" button to retain its width so that the text "New" is displayed, whilst the second button I would like to have a width of about 18, so that there isn't a blank space to the right of the icon.

Please note, I do not require code to centre the second icon on the button to reduce the space to the right!

I noticed that the toolbar control was in the VB(5/6) section and not .NET - hopefully it will be compatible (I will try it out)

Bit rubbish that you cannot set the width property of individual buttons - you would think that would be a standard request!! Almost as crap as the menu control that cannot have an associated imagelist - although at least I know how to get round that one...
Ah well........

That is very strange that yours is doing that because mine isn't.
