Syntax Error

I am getting an Expected end of statement Error. Can someone tell me what is wrong with my code ?

Response.Write "<LI><A HREF=""/" TARGET=\"basefrm\" & objFile.Name & _
""">" & objFile.Name & "</A><BR>"

I want the Response written to basefrm which refers to another frame.

the speech marks that you are using within the HTML is conflicting with the Sring for the Eesponse.Write either replace them with single qoutes or use chr(34).

Response.Write "<LI><A HREF='/' TARGET='\basefrm\" & objFile.Name & _
"'">" & objFile.Name & "</A><BR>"

Or

Response.Write "<LI><A HREF=" & chr(34) & "/" & chr(34) TARGET=" & chr(34) & "\basefrm\" & objFile.Name & _
chr(34) & ">" & objFile.Name & "</A><BR>"

Either way will work.
