Chr$()...

A lot of people think that you need to encrypt your program changing words and stuff and to hide the passwords for your programs. Well, I think Chr$() is just as good as encryption. Try it! Use a hex editor to get into your program and you will see that there are no words! Only problem about this is, if you want to re-edit your program, you have to figure out what everything is! Unless, of course, your a genius who remember's what all the Chr$()'s are. Is there anybody out there who knows all the Chr$()'s by heart?

Dennis gave me the code today to covert. You can convert backward by using ASC. I know you know that already.EDITING, he propably saved to a txt file before the converting because i saw some of his posting reedit.

Did you hear of Asc()? It converts the numbers back to chars... *g*

well, with Chr() you can make good encryption, but only Chr() is not good enough...

I have heard of asc(), or you can just put the chr()'s in a textbox or msgbox to get it. But still, it's good for when you don't want anyone to hex your program to make them put their name instead and get credit for it.
