Hi,
I need help. I want to develop a web based system but do not know how to go about it.
Can someone please tell me
1)what is needed to develop a web based system. the steps?
2) is client and server programming needed? if yes what programming language is used for the server and the client. i thought of using vb.net/c# and ASP.Net is this sufficient?

Nope, because you want something that's more likely to run on the servers you'll find, which primarily don't run IIS because it's total crap :pQuote:

Meanwhile in the real world I continue to write apps using ASP .NET that run on IIS with no problems what so ever.Quote:
