What should I get and how do I share DSL connection in my house?
You will need a Cable/DSL router and all the computers will need to be hooked up.
You can get a wired one and wire your house for a network or you can get a wireless one and get wireless NICs fro each computer. Note however that the second option is far pricier...
Can't you just share it with software?
Create a normal LAN, connect one pc to the internet and use some software like SolidShare to share your internet connection with all users.
You cant share internet unless the computer are linked. Internet doesn;t fly throgh the air....Well, if does it you have a wirless netowrk, but you get the idea.
routers are a more..elegant solution
of course I know how, but any recommendation of which Router to get?

I know how to do it with LAN, but how do I do it with a Router? Is it wireless? Which one would you recommend? Geez, american ways of sharing DSL is ****ing complex.
Umm....
DSL Line -> DSL Modem -> Router -> Computer 1, Computer 2, Computer 3...
In a LAN situation the Router works much like the Hub/Switch. Any one will do.
