That clause just happened to appear in the AUP.
They have never had this issue before at CodeGuru, so that's why they did not forsee any problems.
They agree that for them to take ownership of your code is not right.
The AUP is being changed to non-exclusive, which means that you retain the rights to use your code however you wish.
The AUP page should be updated within a day or two.

yeah lets go... they must think our code is all a bunch of crap.. thats why they changed their minds at the last minute.. they were looking for good code to sell and didn't find any :p

Well, even though the AUP has changed, now that I looked at the Legal Notices, as quoted in my signature, isn't there a confict between the two?
