system.datetime
I am writing an application for use on a network with 3 computers on it. My application DEPENDS on the time being very accurate. My problem is that the clocks on the 3 different computers are not the same. I've tried resetting them, but two days later all their times vary by at least 5 minutes.
Anyways my question is is there code to provide a solution to my problem.
example (C:)system.datetime.now <---- This on the main comp
(F:)system.datetime.now <------ This on the others
where f: is the drive name of the one comp
I dont know???

Try changing the time in the bios, and see if that helps.

I agree with DevGrp. but .....
years ago, when I was studying networking courses , I'd tried to set the computer's system time in the class I was studying in .Then after 5 mins , it gets back to the previous setting.I did that couple of times .anyways, I asked the instructor why was that ???
he told me because the policy in my computer was overriden by the policy in the server.in another way , the server was checking every 5 mins the changes that was happening in the client's policy and get it back to the previous state.
so this maybe affect client computers in your network!!
