Cauchy?

Does anyone know of or about the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality?

Are you thinking about convolutions? (....Schwartz functions can be used to represent them).

(x₁²+x₂²+...+x_n²)(y₁²+y₂²+...+y_n²)=(x₁y₁+x₂y₂+...+x_ny_n)²

equality occurs when x₁:x₂:...:x_n=y₁:y₂:...:y_n
