Benefits with .Net vs Vb 6.0?? (Database functions)

I have an app that is used for extracting data from an Access database. This app uses ADO to conect to the database. The data that is extracted from the database is the added into a diffrent Access database. This database is then uploaded to a webserver.

Would this data extraction be faster if the app was written in .net???? Its now written in Vb 6.0...

I'd say probably not. ADO.NET is built for functionality and since you are just transferring data then the database itself is probably don't most of the work and still would be, so I don't hink you'd see much difference.
