quick question (i hope)

How do I retrieve the day of the week, long or short format?

format$(date,"dd") or Day(Date) will return the short form
format$(date,"dddd") will return the long

Assume the current date is Thursday, 29 June 2000.

you can use weekday function to return a number 1=sunday 2=monday...
