compiler output

hey ive just compile a projected called cmdline, with had source1.cpp inside.

my compiler created these files,

BuildLog.htm
cmdline.exe
cmdline.pdb
source1.obj
vc70.idb
vc70.pdb

wat does they all do, and do i have to ship all the files for it to run on another computer???

You just need the .exe, the rest are used by the compiler while compiling

As was stated, only the .exe is needed. The files are, in order:

HTML version of the compiler output (easier to read sometimes).

Final linked executable.

Program Database (debug information and symbols).

Compiled object code for "source1.cpp".

Dunno about the last two, I think they're used by the linker :shrug:
