If it's possible, I want to filter out the singing/voices from a song, leaving only the beat/rythm?
Any programmes that can do it?
Also, if it's any help I've got Winamp 3.0 and Virtual Turntables.

I dont think so, the reason why I think that is I have some (new) CDs of Beethoven symphonies and since it was recorded at a concert theres still some noise of people coughing :P Im sure if it was possible to completely remove something they would have
Go to winamp.com, go to Classic, search for nullsoft in the box, and you'll get one plugin (DSP effects). Download (this will require 2.x), and open Winamp. Now you can put it as your DSP (the voice removal part) and it will attempt to remove the vocals. On one of my songs, it works absolutely perfectly (Badly Drawn Boy - Silent Sigh). On another, it doesn't work at all (Gipsy Kings - Bamboleo). So it really is the luck of the draw.
Thanks, I'll try that.
If you have something that can apply FFT filters to things you might be able to strip out the voice frequency components, but then you need to be careful you don't remove the backing as well.

Their program has an option to remove vocals, works pretty well
