This isn't about democracy. It's about satisfying the masses by making them believe they have a say in what happens.
The Bill of Rights has been successfully 'revoked' by playing upon our sentiments and making sure most of us never noticed it. I seriously doubt this will have an effect.
It probably won't do much, but at least Bush will know we're not just taking it up the @$$ without protesting...Quote:
