How important is it for you that your scripts work with Mozilla (or even Opera)?
What do you mean by cross-scripts? Cross-browser scripts, i.e. ones that work in all browsers the same?

I'm trying to get out of the bad habbit but if IE can do something I need to do and others can't then for now I have to forget about the % that dosen;t use IE (and the specific version). Most of my apps are 'in-house' type stuff but via the net so I can tell my users what they can and can't use... but like I said I'm trying to get out of it :)
It's been a while since I saw things that can be done in IE but not in other browsers. Except for windows-specific functions of course.
Nowadays I often stumble upon bugs in the IE scripting engine. Especially the one below IE 5.5 is very incomplete and buggy. Requires weird workarounds (like the one time where I had to recreate a whole form in another window in order to make something work)
