Dear VBMaster!
How to get computer names and IP addresses on windows NT or Windows98 . Please help me
thanks for your help.
-
if you want to check your own ip.you can use winipcfg or ipconfig.
otherwise, use nbtstat -A <ip> to check them.
-
Why don't you use the SEARCH engine of this site?
The topic is already discussed several times.
-
I agree on that... so often the same questions
Maybe the webmaster can make the search button some bigger? *S*

I agree partially with CrazyD & calle, that this topic has been posted before.
But to my knowledge nobody has been able to give an answer that works. :(
(please correct me if I'm wrong)
Maybe lejohn should have given a reply to a previuos topic, stating that he also was looking for an answer and that way notify everybody that this topic is still unsolved.

My mistake Sorry
If lejohn was talking about computerNames in a network I would have partially agreed with CrazyD and Calle, because to my knowledge that topic is still not solved.
(Please correct me if I'm wrong) :)
If he's talking about his own computername then the answer has been given a couple of times and I would have to agree with CrazyD and Calle.
Sorry lejohn ;)
