Provide specifics on what you are trying to accomplish. There are many good interfaces to create. Just depends on the complexity and overall task of the projects...;)
Do they have an intranet. For some weird reason people love working on a webpage, this does have some problems though.
Have written something similar before depends on exactly what functionality that you want to include and how you see you prog being used.
Give us some more details to go on.
