I think Holland will win against France in the finals and not only because I am Dutch.

They have already defeated the French once during this championship. Ok, it was against a b-selection, but this b-selection isn't that much worse than the a-selection and all of the Dutch players have very good qualities. They're just coming out now. Plus, morale is very high now and they play in their own country. GO HOLLAND ;-)

after the way they demolished yugoslavia I think holland have to at least get to the finals, if not win. i say this because i need someone else to support now that the rather bo***cks england team went out early on. how the hell we could be 2-0 up and then lost 3-2 is beyond me.

Well i'm not dutch, but i wanted the Netherlands to win.

That was posibly the worst football game i have ever had the misfortune to watch.

Don't get me wrong, the dutch played admirally, we'll just gloss over two missed penalties.

It is those bloody italians that get me. They didin't actually PLAY any football, it was clear they wanted to go to penalties.

You can't expect to win a match if you don't actually attempt to score a goal. They italians should be penalised in some way. Preferably by lining them up and shooting them all in the head.

Again, don't get me wrong, i have nothing against Italy, in fact i love the place, but even you italians should hang your heads in shame for the way your football team played.

Lets not mention the fact that the italian players went down easier than a cheap ***** whenever a dutch player even looked at them. Most of them should have been sent off for diving.

Lets hope that the final is not like that, and that the French give the italians a thourough whiping.

I just want to add my voice to the go France sentiment.

Be fun if it was France, because then they'll probably have sales on all the drinks and we can go and get utterly hammered. (And hopefully avoid those who prefer to throw chairs around). I suppose it makes no difference: England could have either dropped out through poor play (we did that), or get chucked out for the hooligans (we did this one even better).

What did i tell you? ITALY won, and i was the only one that said that... i am a genuis!

Yes I can tell you: 9 out of 22 were foreigners.
But they indeed made a tight team, do you agree?
