2 Simple Q's brain not working today

OK i have done both of these before, but can i remeber ? can i hell. :)

OK i have a combo box with various values in the list propertie, i want to put into the Combo box change function the number slelected in the combo box into a varible

ive been trying everything

ZoomFactor = comZoomLevel.List
ZoomFactor = comZoomLevel.ListData
Etc Etc

Also I cant remeber for the life of me how to insert a BMP into either a Image or PcitrueBox place that on top of another image/picturebox and make the one thast on top of the other image back color translucent, i have saved the image i created as a BMP with the white backgroud colour as the trasparencey colour

I havhe a picture that i want to blend with the background image i have insead of being encased in a White Box.

For the first question:

First of all you have to place the code in the Click event.

To get the Index of the item that has been clicked:

Code:

Index = cbo.ListIndex

To get the List Item:

Not sure what your trying to do with the combo box, could you clarify?

well for the image I belive there are many ways I use the API function BITBLT as you can see in the sample below
