Can you not edit storedprocedures from the VS.IDE, using the Pro version? I could have swore that you could in the beta. Or does it have to do with the fact that the SQL Server is on another machine and is verions 7?

Well all I can tell you is I can edit sp's with vs.net pro using msde.
Yep I am able to drill into my SQL server in Server Explorer, and pick a particular database and find Stored Procedures, and it lets me edit (didn't know you could do that, I was using SQL Enterprise Manager)
Hmm I tried at home with SQL 2k but still no open option. Are the databases you are editing on the same machine? Maybe it only works with local databases. Or Maybe I never installed MSDE on the development machine.
I can see all the goods and run sps, open tables but I can't edit them or add new ones????
Well I installed MSDE on the dev machine and now I can edit stuff but only on local databases :( Anyone know how to change it so I can do the samething on a remote database on teh network?
Here's how I'm getting there:
Yeah that is what I mean, see on mine I can only edit the local database (felipe) not the main sql server database on the network (mephisto).
