I'm sure the copy you have will make damn sure it is off your computer when it runs out ;)
If not, just install a dual boot now with another OS you use and when the trial runs out on the thing you're using now, boot into your full version OS and delete the folder, and the entry in the boot.ini file to boot into .net server.
The RC version of .NET server is not intended for production use. You should install it on a test server that you can just re-format once you are done with the product. There is no uninstall for the OS if that's what you were asking, you will have to either install over top of it or delete the partition and start over.
thats lucky that a partition my hard drive
thanks for all the help :)
I'm not sure if it has anything to do w/the version you have but I read an article the other day about a guy who installed a trial upgrade on his handheld and didn't like it so he let the trial run out... it totaly disabled his PDA. I read the article in eithe rthis month or last months InfoWorld (they may have a online vers... I'll look later).

Cant find it :)
The RC version of .NET, as with the RC of whistler/XP won't un-install itself after the time has expired, it gives you a messagebox and doesn't let you into windows.
The resolution is to wait until a later version of the OS (RC2 etc) comes out & install this over the top.
In answer to your other question, you can get to a DOS prompt using a windows 98 boot disk. Then type in :
FORMAT C:
Not with NTFS. You need to use a Windows NT 4-5.1 install CD.Quote:
