What are people doing here?

Not that I don't like it, but I think it's kinda weird...

I mean, I like entering a forum somtimes to solve some doubts, and maybe help someone if I can. I do that in other forums, where I know about the subject more than the posters (I'm not VB master yet to do that here ^^).

But in this forum here, beside other forums, it looks like a lot of people are not doing that. Looks like they're just hanging in there, waiting for a question, just to answer, like a job. :P

So, the question would be, are all those just crazy helpers or do someone get paid working here? :D

Sadly we don't get paid to help here :)

We just have a large dedicated community.
That, and most people are bored in work, so they just hang around here :)

My motivation is the custom status (everyone has to have goals right?).
But seriously, for me it is that I have received answers to many of my questions, so much that in some cases I'll ask before even bothering to look it up myself. So in return I like to answer other's questions when I can.
Then you have chit chat which is just all around good fun :)
