I have VB6 Pro with SP3 installed.
I have downloaded Jet40SP4.exe and MDAC_TYP ver 2.50.4403.12.
Do I install MDAC first and will I still be able to program for Win 95 & 98.
I have also obtained Windows 2000 Developers Readiness Kit and do I install this after the above.
Will I still be able to write programs for Win 95 & 98 as well as Win 2000 when all installed.

Using Jet40sp4 and mdac2.5 will affect win95/98 machines as long as add all needed components to your setup.
making setup's goes easier with the new microsoft installer (free download) : you can make 1 setup which includes dcom/mdac and dao3.6(= jet4)
Don't know about Win 2000 dev Ready kit.
