I am on Verizon DSL. I don't know if it's supposed to work this way, but I have the modem going into the uplink on my hub, and each of my other computers gets it's own IP address... I have plugged in 3 computers running Win98, WinME, and Win2K without a problem. It uses DHCP, so I don't do anything to the TCP/IP config. My fault, I assumed you were running 98 or ME given this info. But you know what happens when you assume. Is the XP machine getting a local ip address? If it can get on the internet and not see your other PCs it seems like it is getting an outside ip (outside your home network at least) from your ISP. Check it against your others.
