What's MOT?

A yearly test that all vehicles have to have once they are more than 3 years old to ensure they're still roadworthy :)

ah, we have to have a smog check in California the same way!

There is an emissions element to the MOT, but it's mainly to check that things like wheels and exhaust are up to scratch. :)

As long as the emissions are up to standard you could have bald tires and no muffler.....weird!

I think you'd get stopped though by the cops for those sort of things ;)
