Anyone know how the GeForce 2 Ti (clocked to 250 Core with 225/450 RAM), compares to the stock GF2 Ultra?
And what the heck happened to make NVidia release the GF2 Ti? What'd they do to the GF2 GTS to get the Ti?
On a side note, ATI R300 is a MACHINE....

The GeForce2 Ti is clocked at 250/400 and the Ultra is 250/460.
suppose i lcocked the TI to 250/450
Oh, sorry...yeah, the two use the same architecture. GF2 MX is the one with half the rendering pipelines; the others all have 4, though.
So a Ti clocked at 250/450 would be just about as fast as a GeForce2 Ultra at stock. Clock the memory up to 460 and it would be just as fast :)

I built myself a new computer a month ago and only bought a 32MB TNT 2... I supposed it beats the 16MB ATI Rage 128 in my other computer.Quote:

Old school with GeForce 2? I still have a VooDoo1. By the way what ever happened to 3dfx? :confused:
3dfx went out of business. There are still hackers working on drivers, though.
3dfx bought by nvidia shortly after the V5 5500 i believe.
