I like it here, and I'm not thirsty.Quote:

I won't find one anywhere near here, unless I go to a pet shop. Which will be more annoying.Quote:

GUESS WHAT?!?!?
The fly went away!
If the fly comes back, there is a mad frog in this forum.......I think you could persuade him and then you don't have to go to the pet store!
Can't. The fly is hovering around the Shut Down command.Quote:

Thinking along those lines, does anybody have a "fireworks" or "flame" screen saver to scare it away?
Also, I remember a game for Palm OS called Flytrap. Is there a PC equivalent?
Do you mean mendhak?Quote:

Yep!!!!!!!! :D
AAAH! THE FLY CAME BACK!
Quick! Get Mendhak!!!!!!
1) It went away again.
2) mendhak is not online.
By the way, I came across FlySwatter.exe, by Pestisoft. Is it any good? And is it compatible with Windows ME?
I think Raid.exe works better and is cross-platform compatible!
Where can I download this file? Pestisoft.com didn't have it, neither did FliesAway.org.
It's at www.bugkillers.com
Sorry dude, I have aviophobia. :)
Set the room on fire. That'll solve everything.
:)
That's what I like about you most, John....you are always so helpful and logical! :)
I'm leaving this room soon, and not coming back for at least week. Flies only live about 2 days maximum, so it should be okay. Thanks for your help.
crptcblade: I tried that, but it was too hot and I couldn't concentrate like that either. So I put it out, and the fly promptly came back and started buzzing again.
barrk: I get an error when trying to run Raid.exe. Should I re-download it?
No just try www.bugreaper.com instead!
It runs in the family. But it can be a curse. Chicago was never the same after that O'Leary cow pissed off my great grandfather.Quote:

Dovy - have you tried covering the entire room in electrical tape? I heard that helps.
:)
I posed the message 'reboot windows', and, subsequantly, I have been recieving an email each time someone posts a message here, informing me someone has posted.
So, I was kinda wondering, CAN WE END THIS NOW!! :D
Thank you.
Umm..no. We help until the problem is solved. It'll only be two more days max until the fly dies.
;)
**AirScape17 pulls out his riffle and takes aim at the baastard fly**
Good idea. Save the bazooka for the mosquitos.Quote:

I had a buzzing noise last night which preventing me from sleeping. Took me a while to figure out it was a fly.
In the end I was dancing around the bedroom naked trying to whallop this fly with a book.
Frightening.
Of course, by the time I'd got the fly I was thoroughly awake and couldn't get back to sleep. Typical.
