Hi All !
When I'making the setup Package with the VS.NET it seems to be doing quite well but when I'm trying to install the application to another machine - It fails right at the beginning. The error is - "You need to have the .NET Framework".
How can I include the Framework itself to my package or where I can just download it or JUST GET IT SOMEHOW ???????? SOMEWHERE ??????

The Framework is on the Components disc for VS.NET, or available through Windows Update, or here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframewo...s/howtoget.asp
hmmm i use .net's deployment wizard to make the .msi's for my vb6 progs.... the only snag i encounter is sometimes the installer version on the comp needs to be updated to version 2.0... however if u r installing a .net app i wouldnt be surprised if it had an app check and diplayed this error......... if the comp doesnt have the framework then what is the good in installing the .net app since its not going to work
A setup project in .net allows you to include the .net redistributable in the installer.
