Hard luck Simon :( Hope you get a big cheque.
My agency never gets back to me these days.
That's two in a week, I'm feeling nervous.
Things like that are a shame, one time you could quite happily be in a job next you have no job. I hope you find a job and don't have to get unemployment payments.
sorry to hear that, Simon. :(
damn, not good :(
Which company was it?
Well, since they're insolvant, it's not likely... :(Quote:

However, since I've worked there for just over two years, the NI fund will pay (some of) it and do the crap job of trying to get the money out of the liquidators instead of me. :)
I worked in a child company that was part of the WHL Group. The whole group went bust draagging us along with it... :(Quote:

Bugger mate :(
Very bad luck Simon.. I hope something comes up quickly for you...

But yeah sorry to hear that simon
Sorry to hear that mate.
Try the following recruitment co's
Progressive
Computer Futures
Huxley Assoc.
Optima Solutions.
They're all a bunch of *****s but every now and then you have to suck up to them. In the current climate, I'd recommend looking at Software consultancies, as tehy have a higher staff churn rate and therefoer often look for new people.
Thanks for all you comments of sympathy and helpful suggestions.
However, do not fear, I do not believe I will have more time available for debating...I had unlimmited access to DSL internet connection at work and at home, I am back on a standard 56k modem and have to foot the costs of being online.
Not only that, but my fiance expects me to actually make myself useful while I'm at home so that rules out lounging in the sun all day and supping beers!
;)
