servlet?asp

Which is fast servlet or asp?

I thought the comparison would be:
jsp versus asp
and
servlets versus cgi

But I really haven't read my Servlets and JSP book yet.

Servlets are supposed to be faster and more efficient than CGI if they are called more than once.
