Make .DOT file known in MS Word

Dear VB users,

I am busy to create for Word a VB application.
The .DOT file is used in Word as a kind of template.
How can I make a .DOT file known in Word.
When I say in Word: [File] - [New], I want to see me new .DOT template.

If you are talking about within Word, there is a radio button choice in the New form, on the bottom right hand side where you indicate whether you want a document, or a template.
