Dualbooting XP and XP

Okay. Now here's a tricky problem :p ...

I am currently trying to boot with the dualboot option of WinXP to another hidden partition which also has xp installed. But can't get it done. Creating two users on one disk is no option, because I'm trying to keep entertainment and work REALLY seperated. So using two partitions was the only solution. I messed a bit around with boot.ini but can't seem to get it done... Please help... :(

try getting there my hand: going to domain, tutorials, solftware, then dual booting

That's for Linux and Win 2000, that's not what I'm looking for, it doesn't work.

at the end it tells how to use the dual booting feature of boot.ini, and how to run mbr's from it.

That will come in handy

I know I tried, but it doesnt work.

My boot.ini now looks like this, but no matter what I select it keeps booting to the Personal Disk (I can see that using Partition Magic)

why not just install XP ONCE... and use PROFILES (different users) to hold different settings, etc..

what you're doing is a BIT pointless

but anyways..
if you used partition magic, then load a program called BootQuest (or something)
i forget what it was called
you open it, and it'll give you an option of which partition to boot into

that's what i do, and it works very well.

I do not want to use different ser (as I already said) I want to keep work and personal use REALLY seperated.

It's called PQBootX, but I have no idea how to get it to load when booting... :(

you don't use it WHEN booting (or i don't, anyways)
because i have one partition that is hidden, and another unhidden at ALL Times, i load up the PQBoot, and it's like a DOS prompt, it asks me for a number (1 or 2) to which drive i want to boot. i select it, and it restarts

it's good that way because it doesn't ask you WHEN BOOTING UP for an OS.

you have to click an icon and hit 1 or 2.

if you want a screenshot of my Partition Magic, showing what it looks like (what's hidden, etc.)
