Timeout Expired

i tried to execute a stored procedure with rs.open propetry
it gives error- timeout expired.i tried with other parameters,it ran fine ,but becoz of long processing it is timing out.

i had set the connectiontimeout propetry of connection object
to a high value but in vain...

pl. help me out and pl. do reply fast ..
